About 31 miles separate Cassopolis from our Wakarusa, IN location, making Wakarusa Heavy Equipment one of the closest full-service rental and sales companies for contractors and property owners in the area. We rent skid steers, dozers, excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, and haul trucks from a growing fleet of over 500 machines, all backed by our own in-house service department.
Because we're family-owned and operated, Cassopolis customers deal directly with people who know the equipment and the job sites — from picking the right machine to keeping it running through the length of your rental. We also handle equipment sales and service work on machines you didn't rent or buy from us. We're also a Takeuchi dealer, so Cassopolis customers can get genuine Takeuchi parts and service here too.
Why Cassopolis Contractors Choose Us
Equipment for the Cass County Seat and Its Lakes
Cassopolis is the Cass County seat, set on Stone Lake with Diamond Lake just to the east, so lake-home builds, shoreline access, and landscaping are a big part of the work here. Mini excavators and compact track loaders fit narrow lake lots, and dozers and excavators handle farm and site work across the county.
Our Wakarusa location is about 31 miles away, so same-day pickup is an easy trip. Every rental comes with support from our own in-house service department, not a call center, so a mechanical question gets answered by someone who actually knows the machine. We're also a factory-authorized Takeuchi dealer, so genuine parts and trained technicians are part of the deal.

Customer Testimonials
"I usually work on my own equipment. My Takeuchi Skid Steer had a few issues that had compiled, and eventually it developed a no crank no start issue. Me and my buddies spent days trying to figure it out. I finally dropped it off to Wakarusa, and they figured it out way quicker than I expected, way more things than I even realized were bad, and for an incredibly reasonable rate. These guys are quick and I will certainly be back! I may even take stuff to them before I try to fix it myself next time."
