Why Contractors Choose Takeuchi
Takeuchi was founded in Japan in 1963 and is credited with introducing the world's first compact excavator in 1971 and the first compact track loader in 1986. That history shows in the machines: strong hydraulics, operator-focused cabs, and a lineup deep enough that you can match the machine to the work instead of settling for close enough.
- Full lineup, one dealer. Mini excavators from the tight-access TB210R up to the long-reach TB2150R, six compact track loaders, three wheel loaders and a crawler dumper.
- Built for production. Compact track loaders and excavators that hold up to daily rental-yard and job-site abuse.
- Local support. Buy from the people who also run the service shop and parts counter, so downtime stays short.
- Try before you buy. Several of the models we sell are also in our rental fleet, so you can run one on your own site first.
Takeuchi Mini Excavators
Takeuchi mini excavators are the reason many contractors switched to compact equipment. Pick by digging depth, tail swing and operating weight. We carry nine mini excavator models:
- TB210R: ultra-compact and nimble for tight jobsites, fence lines and indoor demolition.
- TB216: compact, versatile digger for tight-access landscaping, utility and site work.
- TB225: a step up in size with balanced digging depth, lift capacity and tight tail swing.
- TB230: dependable mid-size mini with 24.4 HP for landscaping and utility work.
- TB235-2: versatile mini with 127.8 inches of dig depth and smooth operation on tight sites.
- TB240: mid-size mini with strong digging depth and breakout force for utility, foundation and general excavation.
- TB250-2: heavier-class mini for larger utility, site development and demolition work.
- TB335R: reduced tail swing for working close to structures without losing power.
- TB370: the largest mini in the lineup, built for maximum digging depth and lift capacity.

Takeuchi Excavators: Zero Tail Swing to Long Reach
When the job outgrows a mini, the larger Takeuchi excavators bring more horsepower, reach and lifting power, while keeping tail swing tight enough for crowded sites.
- TB257FR: true zero tail swing with 52.3 HP and 153.4 inches of dig depth for the tightest spaces.
- TB260: 47.6 HP and strong digging depth for a wide range of jobsite tasks.
- TB280FR: zero tail swing with 69.2 HP for maximum working range in restricted areas.
- TB290: full-size, reduced tail swing excavator for larger site and utility work.
- TB290CR: mulching carrier built on the TB290 platform for land clearing.
- TB350R: reduced tail swing, 41.7 HP and 140.8 inches of dig depth for confined-space work.
- TB395W: 114 HP wheeled excavator for fast travel on paved and urban sites.
- TB2150: 114 HP with 216 inches of dig depth for heavy-duty excavation.
- TB2150R: the long-reach version with 237.4 inches of dig depth for deep excavation.
- TB20E: Takeuchi's first all-electric mini excavator, with zero emissions, quiet operation and a 24.6 kWh battery.

Takeuchi Compact Track Loaders
Takeuchi helped invent the compact track loader, and it remains the machine most people picture when they hear the name. Rubber tracks keep ground pressure low and traction high on mud, snow and soft ground. We carry six models:
- TL6R: the narrowest model at 5 feet wide, for tight landscaping, fencing and backyard work.
- TL8R-2: a larger, more powerful step up with an internally routed drive for durability on demanding earthmoving.
- TL10V-2: high-flow, vertical lift geometry for reach and lift height at trucks and hoppers, with no DEF required.
- TL11R3: 107 HP with electro-hydraulic controls for smooth, precise commercial and site work.
- TL12R-2: the largest radial-lift loader, with 111 HP and strong pushing and digging power.
- TL12V-2: the heaviest loader in the lineup, 111 HP with vertical lift geometry.

Takeuchi Wheel Loaders and Crawler Dumper
For material handling, yard work and snow removal, Takeuchi wheel loaders offer a tight turning radius and good visibility:
- TW60 Series 2: compact 1-yard loader with good maneuverability for material handling, snow removal and yard work.
- TW80 Series 3: sits between the TW60-2 and TW95 with strong breakout force.
- TW95: larger 2-yard loader with more lift capacity and bucket volume for heavier material handling.
For rough or steep terrain, the TCR50-2 crawler dumper hauls up to 8,157 lbs in a 2.68 cubic yard all-steel dump body with a 180-degree rotating bed, a 65-degree tip angle and a standard rear camera. See our wheel loader rentals for more.
Takeuchi Warranty and Fleet Management
Takeuchi machines come with a standard 2-year or 2,000-hour warranty. Takeuchi also offers an optional Premier Warranty of 3 years or 3,000 hours on its track loaders, excavators and crawler dumper, which requires genuine Takeuchi parts, and a P3 Power Protection Plan that can extend coverage up to 5 years. Terms can change, so ask us for the current details on the exact model you are considering.
Most Takeuchi excavators, all track loader models and the crawler dumper also support Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM), a telematics system that tracks machine location, hours, alerts and equipment health remotely. Takeuchi includes TFM free for the first five years of ownership.
