Via SR-15, Continental is about 56 miles from our Waterloo, IN location, making Wakarusa Heavy Equipment one of the closest full-service rental and sales companies for contractors and property owners in the area. We rent skid steers, excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, and haul trucks from a growing fleet of machines, all backed by our own in-house service department.
We're a family-owned and operated company, so Continental customers deal directly with people who know the equipment and the job sites — from picking the right machine to keeping it running through the length of your rental. We also stock loaner machines you didn't rent or buy from us. We're also a Takeuchi dealer, so Continental customers can get genuine Takeuchi parts and service here too.
Why Continental Contractors Choose Us
Serving Continental and Putnam County, Ohio
Continental is a small village in western Putnam County, surrounded by flat, fertile northwest Ohio farmland. That makes drainage, ditch cleanout, and building pads a big part of the work here, along with driveway and residential projects. Dozers, excavators, and skid steers with grading buckets are a good fit for jobs like these.
It's about 56 miles from our Waterloo location, so call ahead and we'll have your machine ready, or ask about delivery. Every machine goes out serviced by our own in-house technicians, and if something comes up mid-rental, you'll reach the team that knows it best. We're also a factory-authorized Takeuchi dealer, with genuine parts and trained techs on hand.

Customer Testimonials
"I usually work on my own equipment. My Takeuchi Skid Steer had a few issues that had compiled, and eventually it developed a no crank no start issue. Me and my buddies spent days trying to figure it out. I finally dropped it off to Wakarusa, and they figured it out way quicker than I expected, way more things than I even realized were bad, and for an incredibly reasonable rate. These guys are quick and I will certainly be back! I may even take stuff to them before I try to fix it myself next time."
