Why Garrett Contractors Choose Us
Equipment for Garrett, a DeKalb County Railroad Town
Garrett grew up as a railroad town and today mixes industrial work, residential growth, and surrounding DeKalb County farmland. Jobs here include site prep and parking lots, utility trenching, new home sites, and farm drainage. We keep skid steers, mini excavators, wheel loaders, and haul trucks ready on daily, weekly, and monthly terms.
At just 11 miles from our Waterloo location, a quick machine swap or service question never costs you half a day. Every rental comes with support from our own in-house service department, not a call center, so a mechanical question gets answered by someone who actually knows the machine. We're also a factory-authorized Takeuchi dealer, so genuine parts and trained technicians are part of the deal.

Customer Testimonials
"I usually work on my own equipment. My Takeuchi Skid Steer had a few issues that had compiled, and eventually it developed a no crank no start issue. Me and my buddies spent days trying to figure it out. I finally dropped it off to Wakarusa, and they figured it out way quicker than I expected, way more things than I even realized were bad, and for an incredibly reasonable rate. These guys are quick and I will certainly be back! I may even take stuff to them before I try to fix it myself next time."
