A Family-Owned Rental Yard Serving Marshall County
Wakarusa Heavy Equipment is the closest full-service rental yard for a lot of Plymouth contractors, and the easiest one to work with. We rent compact track loaders, skid steers, mini and full-size excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, rollers, telehandlers, boom and scissor lifts, and articulated haul trucks, all maintained in our own shop by the same technicians who service the machines we sell.
Plymouth customers deal with people who know the equipment and the ground it is going to work on. We will help you pick the right size machine, set it up with the right attachment, and get it to your site, usually the same day. Our delivery trucks run down US-6 and US-30 to Plymouth, Bremen, Bourbon, Culver, Argos and LaPaz every week.
Built for Marshall County Work
From the US-30 Industrial Corridor to the Lake Lots
Plymouth sits at the crossroads of US-30 and US-31, and the plants and distribution yards along that corridor keep forklifts, telehandlers, compact track loaders and sweepers busy with lot cleanup, pad prep and material handling. When a machine goes down on a production schedule, we get a replacement out fast. The county's farm ground matters just as much to us: tile and drainage repair, fence lines, ditch cleaning, grain bin pads and barn lots are everyday rentals for Marshall County farmers, and we stock the brush mowers, augers and trenchers that go with them.
Then there are the lakes. Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Lake of the Woods near Bremen and the smaller lakes around the county mean seawalls, pier footings, lot clearing, retaining walls and steep lakeside driveways, often with tight access. Mini excavators and compact track loaders are the go-to machines for that work, and homeowners rent them from us every week for driveways, drainage and stump removal in town too. If it is your first time on a machine, we will walk you through the controls at pickup or delivery.

Customer Testimonials
"I usually work on my own equipment. My Takeuchi Skid Steer had a few issues that had compiled, and eventually it developed a no crank no start issue. Me and my buddies spent days trying to figure it out. I finally dropped it off to Wakarusa, and they figured it out way quicker than I expected, way more things than I even realized were bad, and for an incredibly reasonable rate. These guys are quick and I will certainly be back! I may even take stuff to them before I try to fix it myself next time."
